Slough Borough Council

Slough Borough Council, part of the local UK Government selected CenturyLink Colocation Services when it had to shut down its existing data centre to make way for a new school. With IT budget constraints and an increasing number of servers consuming more and more data centre space and cost, Slough Borough Council migrated to CenturyLink’s Slough data centre to substantially reduce power, cooling and capital expenses. The move also allows their IT function to be more proactive in approach, increasing efficiency and performance.
